The Delaware Center for Neuroscience Research
Founded in 2012, the Delaware Center for Neuroscience Research is an interdisciplinary, inter-institutional, virtual center linking Delaware State University and the University of Delaware in a joint effort to strengthen and support neuroscience research across the state.

The Delaware Clinical and Translational Research ACCEL Program
The Delaware Clinical and Translational Research (CTR) ACCEL program promotes the innovation, acceleration, and translation of research to improve health outcomes, enhance future funding success, accelerate health care quality, actively engage community members, and advance research careers in Delaware.
The Delaware CTR-ACCEL program is comprised of the State of Delaware, the University of Delaware, the ChristianaCare Health System, Nemours Children’s Health Delaware, and Delaware State University.

THE DELAWARE NUCLEOTIDE ANALYSIS (DNA) CORE CENTER
The Delaware Nucleotide Analysis (DNA) Core Center supports high throughput DNA sequencing and genomics research using state-of-the-art equipment. The core was established for DSU faculty, staff, students, and external clients in their research, and to provide DNA sequencing training and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) services.
The Interdisciplinary Health Equity Research (IHER) Center
The Interdisciplinary Health Equity Research (IHER) Center seeks to investigate the biological, behavioral, and social determinants of health: The largest contributors to differences in health and life expectancy among individuals and groups. Alongside the development of innovative interventions in addressing health disparities, strong partnerships between researchers and communities are central to ensuring the impact and sustainability of IHER Center initiatives.

INBRE
The purpose of the Delaware IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence (INBRE) is to continue building a self-sustaining basic and translational biomedical research capability in Delaware. Under this program, DSU is pursuing diverse educational and research activities aimed at particularly increasing diversity in the biomedical workforce. It is home to several pilot projects led by DSU researchers and the participation of talented DSU students.

The Office of Sponsored Programs
The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) is a support structure and seeks to assist faculty members in a variety of ways – identifying funding sources; assisting with the development of proposals, including the development of a budget; proposal processing, which includes pre- and post-award administration of grants or contract; and review.
